Andy Greaves is without doubt, one of the most versatile comedy entertainers in the country. With an act that includes ventriloquism, stand-up comedy and vocals.
After making his first TV appearance at the age of 13 on Yorkshire TV’s “Calendar Kids “ Andy Greaves went on to appear on Granada TV’s “Fame Game”, Sky TV’s “Search for a Star” which was then followed by the weekly TV show “Guys and Dolls”, plus “Families at War” on BBC1 with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
Over the past 40 years Andy has covered every aspect of the entertainment business, from 36 years on the holiday parks, first as compere then as guest cabaret to winters learning his craft on the Northern club and cabaret circuit.
Andy then progressed to work for Thomson Gold Hotels, My Travel cruises and has appeared with The Beverley Sisters, Jimmy Cricket, Tom O’Connor, and Joe Longthorne in theatres throughout the country.In 2004 Andy topped the bill with his own summer show at the Villa Marina on the Isle of Man.
Last year Andy had the pleasure of appearing on Duggie Chapman’s theatre tour “The Best of British Variety”. Andy has also appeared in Pantomime with John Inman and Darren Day.
